K’gari nursery project: Best practices in native plant propagation for ecosystem regeneration

For the past 27 years, members of FIDO have been coordinating regeneration efforts to control the spread of weed species on K’gari.  Experts and citizen scientists will monitor the propagation and growth of seedlings in different soil types at the Eurong nursery with the help of funding  from the Queensland State Government ($25,440.00), announced on July 25, 2019. FIDO and the University of Queensland are collaborating on this project and are grateful for this Citizen Science grant.
